SDX Energy Inc., the North Africa focused oil and gas company, said it has spud its sixth of nine planned wells in Morocco with the KSS-2 development well on the Sebou permit.
The KSS-2 well is anticipated to take 10-15 days to drill and if successful is expected to be completed, flow tested and connected to existing infrastructure in the near term, The British exploration and production said in a statement.
The recently drilled ONZ-7 well was completed on Feb. 2 and will commence test production around Feb. 5. SDX expects to provide a further update on testing results later this month.
Late in January, the company said it made a gas discovery at its ONZ-7 development well on the Sebou permit.
