Petroplan Group, the specialist oil, gas and energy recruitment company, announced the appointment of Philippa Barnes as its new CEO.

Barnes is a highly qualified HR professional, with in depth strategic and operational management expertise and nearly two decades of experience in the recruitment industry, the company said, adding that her leadership will be an asset in an environment where the focus is on significant growth and continuous improvement.

In her previous roles at Petroplan, as people and client experience director and global human resources director, Barnes has already played a leading role in developing solutions to meet the diverse and evolving requirements of key clients.

She has been instrumental in developing the company’s approach to managing and developing sustainable relationships with new and existing clients and has led the strategic development of recruitment, HR and corporate governance practices and systems.
