DeltaTek appoints two c-level execs

Well construction specialist, DeltaTek, said it has appointed two industry experts to support company growth.

Dave Shand and Steve Bruce have joined the firm as chief commercial and operations officer and chairman and chief technology officer, respectively.

Shand brings over 35 years of industry experience to his new role, having held several leadership roles including chief operating officer at STATS Group, for which he helped double company revenue through overseas expansion, and as managing director, AX-S (Deepwater Subsea Well Intervention) at Expro.

Throughout his career, Shand has also helped launch several new technologies to market, most notably, SmartWELL, CoilCAT and AX-S.

Until 2016, Shand was the chief executive of Darcy Technologies, leading the company for seven years, from start up until its acquisition by Halliburton. Steve has 37 years international experience in leading companies and in building growth through technology development in the upstream oil and gas sector.
